Activated Crabon

Activated carbon is used for the purification of gases, liquids, water and oil. It is classed as dangerous goods and should therefore only be transported by trained professionals.

B. Sindle & Sons Ltd specialise in the transfer of activated carbon to and from drinking water treatment plants across the UK and Ireland.

All our drivers and operatives are EUSR trained and certified, the site services team are also confined space trained and certified to enable them to enter wet carbon filters, as well as educting the spent GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) from the silo filters.

We collect the carbon using our specially designed tankers, designed in-house and built by specialist engineers in the UK and Germany, our tanks are protected with Durapol super abrasion, to avoid internal damage and wear as well as ensuring there is no cross contamination during washouts.

All of our tankers travel with a Carbon Reactivation Team and van that is fully equipped with the necessary fittings, pipe work and educters as well as gas meters, and two way radios.

Once on-site the tanker will be connected to the carbon filter using the relevant pipe work and fittings. The activated carbon will then be educted into our tankers and transported, cleaned, recycled and returned for re-use, the ultimate in Carbon Recycling

If you are looking for a reliable company to deal with your carbon products please call us. We can provide you with tankers in your livery as with our other contract customers, promoting you business every time we work with you!
